The staff and the owner are all so nice and welcoming. The food is amazing with large portions and fresh. The beef patties are yum... even though I never eat them... I love the ones here. Also, they host a great Happy Hour, and the drinks are amazing!!!

Every visit is welcoming and warm. The food is always amazing. When they say everything in the menu is delicious, it's the truth. I had the pleasure of meeting the cooks and they just as warm and inviting you can tell the food is cook with love. My favorite restaurant in Virginia. I'll go out of my way anyway to eat at island jerk hut. The place is always clean and good music is always playing. It's the perfect environment for a relaxing lunch or dinner with outside seating. I'm in love with this place. 10/10 above average..

AMAZING!!!! The service, the food, the vibes are everything. I got the salmon Rasta pasta and tried my friends food who for the salmon escovitch and both were PERFECTLY cooked!! The salmon was blackened on the outside and fell apart the moment my fork hit it.
